With 17 years of experience working in audio post, Dylan Schwartz has had his mix, sound design, and ADR work featured in many familiar television, web, and radio campaigns, as well as in films, TV series, and podcasts.  During his time at Rumblestrip, Dylan spent years servicing the major ad agencies in the Boston area, he established long-term collaborative relationships with agency creative teams. These longstanding relationships provide him with the experience and understanding necessary to maintain brand consistency, and to contribute to the evolution of a brand, from an audio standpoint. After leaving Rumblestrip for New York Dylan struck out on his own and maintained much of his post work for commercials. He also broadened his skill set to ADR recording and mixing for film and TV. He has established himself as a reliable operator in that world that enjoys working with actors. Over a decade of tight deadlines, clients that vary drastically in experience, personality type, and taste, and jobs that range wildly in budget and scope, supply Dylan with a real knowledge of what is important in this business.  He understands that his problem solving and interpersonal skills are just as valuable as his creative and technical abilities.

Additionally, Dylan and his former business partner, Matt Johnson, founded Bakery Quality Sounds in 2013.  Bakery was a music agency that created original compositions for ads. Dylan acted as project manager, provided creative direction, and handled the recording duties.  Beyond his primary role at Bakery, Dylan managed the accounting, legal operations, talent recruiting, sales and marketing, and the endless fine details that came with running a small business. In 2021 Bakery stopped operation so Matt Johnson could pursue his fine art career. However, the experience left Dylan with creative and operational skill sets that make him an engineer as well as a producer, being able to both create within and manage a project.

Outside of work Dylan likes to hang out with his girlfriend Erin, his son Goldie, and his cat Gina. He loves to collect stuff he doesn’t need, make pizza, and practice his jiu jitsu.
